Between November 19th and December 1st, I will be taking some time for a short trip to gather new inspiration and to spend quality time with my children and grandchildren.

Live music

Music also plays a big role in my life. As a singer, I know how a voice or a song can move you, just like a good meal. That’s why we organize a communal table twice a month on Saturdays, a daily special followed by an intimate live music evening. Come and experience it!

About Me

I’m Miranda Jillissen. I have roots in both the Netherlands and the Dutch East Indies, I’ve worked with dedication to open my restaurant, Melati. A place where everyone feels welcome.

At Melati, personal attention is key. Everyone is welcome for a lunch or dinner with fresh, local products, a good glass of wine, a piece of homemade cake, or simply a cup of coffee or tea with a book from the shelf. The interior feels like a French living room: warm, personal, and a bit timeless with an Asian touch.

The dishes are inspired by flavors from all over the world. From French classics to Asian spices, I cook what fits the season and the feeling of the day — always with my own signature.
